Financial Relief for Shilshole Tenants

Here’s the email to the marina tenants from the Port of Seattle-Shilshole…

Dear Marina Moorage Customer:
On April 1, 2020, the Port of Seattle Commission proclaimed that tenants and residents at Port of Seattle facilities shall not be evicted for inability to pay rent through June 30, 2020, including live-aboard residents and other moorage customers, and authorized the Executive Director to provide financial relief to these residents and customers consistent with motion 2020-07.
The Recreational Boating line of business recognizes the significant impact that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is having on many of our customers. We continue to work with those impacted, providing solutions for meeting their particular needs. The staff are reviewing financial hardship requests related to the coronavirus on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible at recboatingcovidrelief@portseattle.org if you are not able to pay your moorage fees due to financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As always, the health, safety, and well-being of our customers, and our staff is of paramount concern. We continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation and we’re here to assist our customers as needed. Please contact our customer service staff for general concerns about the marinas.
