Updated Shilshole Procedures/Closures

Shilshole tenants just received this notice via email which will help explain the closure of some of the parking lot entrances and the plaza, etc….

From the marina staff..

We all want go get outside on these nice days, but according to the governor: “If you need to take a car, it’s probably too far. Don’t recreate with those outside your household. Practice strong social distancing and stay at least 6-feet apart when getting fresh air.”

We are immediately implementing the following measures at SBM to support Governor Jay Inslee’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” emergency order.

• Continuing to clean all public areas two times a day.
• Non-liveaboard moorage customers should only visit SBM if your trip is essential.
• Closing public access to the A-Pier and X Dock.
• Placing partial restrictions on access to the parking lot. All vehicle entrances and exits will remain locked except for those immediately north and south of the SBM main building.
• Controlling pedestrian access to the SBM promenade.
• Limiting access to picnic tables and benches along the pedestrian thoroughfare.
• Closing public restrooms at SBM promenade.

Operational staff are on-site and can assist with normal operational requests. Please be patient with staff members as we exercise critical measures of social distancing. Thank you for your patience in this challenging time.
