SHILSHOLE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES FOR WEEK OF 5/2/05

1)        Throughout the week of May 2nd, the Contractor will continue installing conduits
north of Seaview Boatyard and east of D Dock for construction of the new electrical
substation.  

2)        On Monday, the Contractor will continue saw cutting, excavating, and
trench-shoring around several areas in the parking lot along the eastern most
portion of the parking lot from the furthest south entrance near D Dock to the main
entrance near Central Pier.  Additional activities include: pipe installation and
concrete pouring.  Critical drive ways will remain open.  Vehicle and pedestrian
traffic will be rerouted as needed.

3)        On Monday, the Contractor will continue excavation and trench-shoring for the
water main trench between Seaview Ave and D Dock.  On Monday and Tuesday, pipe will
be installed and tested.  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday activities include concrete
pouring, trench backfilling, and asphalting. 

4)        On Tuesday and Wednesday, the M-3 restroom building demolition begins with
installing fencing and erosion control and disconnecting utilities.  The waste oil
recycle tank next to the M-3 building will also be removed.  A larger hot water tank
and additional washers and dryers have been installed in building M-4, which
reopened last Friday.

5)        Signs will be posted along the sidewalk that the marina and commercial businesses
are open for business.

6)        Please note the permit parking places for marina moorage and building tenants may
be relocated during construction.  Only vehicles displaying a 2005 parking permit
may park in designated permit stalls.

7)        Some construction noise and debris will occur near each construction area.
