- Started sailing at the age of 13 in So. California. Lived on aboard starting at around the same age. I have worked on oil tankers and freighters, crewed on sailboats and power boats. Jobs I have held include fleet chef, apprentice chef, chef, manager of restaurants and retail operations. I have had three businesses. I have two AA degrees and am 10 credits away from a BS/BA....my degrees are in computer repair and electronics. I am 63 yrs old, retired officially,
still live on a boat and am a full time copper and multi media Artist.
My interest in the Shilshole Blog is to help get the word out to the boaters in the Shilshole Bay Marina community. Knowledge will and can empower us to strengthen our position as recreational and liveaboard boaters within the North West Region.
