Crime stats from Port of Seattle Police for Shilshole Marina via Officer Shin on the Monday night VMan Net. Glad to report very few incidents this week. Maybe the rough weather is keeping EVERYONE inside :-).

11/16/21-11/22/21

1- Medical call
1- Boating collision – Boating accident with a moored boat at G63. Parties exchanged information and no estimated damage given.
1- Suspicious person – A Suspicious person was possibly observed last night near C76. Reporting party saw flashing light from their boat. Officers checked the area and did not observe any suspicious activity. The motion sensor light was most likely triggered by a seal we saw in the area.

Officer Shin also mentioned that with the upcoming holiday season we should all continue to keep our eyes open and refrain from leaving packages in our cars. Historically the holidays tend to bring an increase in activity.

Be sure to join in the VMan net on Monday nights at 8pm VHF channel 71. The Port of Seattle Police are once again participating in the net and willing to answer questions. Tenants are encouraged to stay vigilant & report ANY suspicious activity to the Port of Seattle Police.
