From the Shilshole Marina office…

Shilshole Bay Marina’s Customer Service Facilities project is entering the phase in which the marina’s parking lots will undergo grading and drainage improvements as well as an asphalt overlay. This seven-phase project recently started in our north parking lot and will eventually encompass most of the Shilshole’s lots, most with paving dating back to Shilshole’s inception in the 60’s. The one area that is not being repaved is the parking lot immediately south of the marina office. The last section to be repaved will be done near the end of June.

Each section being repaved will take two weeks from start to finish. Moorage customers and commercial tenants near each section will be notified two weeks before work begins. Signs will also be posted in the parking lot at the same time. If your plans include cruising for an extended period of time and you plan to park a vehicle in a marina lot, please contact marina staff for information about where to park.
